Choose the Underground for traveling

When it comes to getting from A to B, taking London Underground – also known as The Tube – can be the fastest way to shuttle between destinations.

Comparable to the New York Subway, it is generally open between 05:30 and 01:00 seven days a week, with a later start time on Sundays.

The Victoria Underground line connects rail stations such as Euston and Kings Cross with Oxford Circus – London’s main shopping district – along with Green Park, where you can exit for Buckingham Palace.

The Northern Underground line will take you from trendy Camden Town to trendier Angel, along with London Bridge and Waterloo – both offering stunning views of the River Thames and the London Eye.

Another to consider is the Central Underground line. You can take tours of Television Center at White City – home of BBC programmes – and then head over to Stratford to see how the Olympic Park is being developed.
